Re: Problems with an orinoco Wireless pcmcia card

A shot in the dark here, but have you replaced the orinocco_cs module
which is included with Familiar 0.8 with the older version of the same?
There is a comment in the release notes for 0.8 describing how to do this.
I personally use an Enterasys Roamabout pcmcia card which is a rebadged
Orinocco Gold. Using the default 0.8 install the Ipaq would register the
card and load the correct module for it. With Wellenreiter I could scan
for available networks etc, but I was unable to connect to my own
network. I replaced the module with the older version using the
instructions at the link below and the card worked without a hitch.
