I did have the same problem (I'm using opie testing with gcc3). I tried
to start from console (input aqpkg) and found out, that a lib was
missing. I can't remember, but I think it was libstdc++5.

Sorry that things are not working as expected.
However as stated several times I have to remind people that the testing
feeds
are considered as being not stable and have to be used at ones own risk so
such effects have to be expected. Things are changing fast here.
As to the specific problem I suggest you start the programs in question
from a
shell and post the output. In most cases certain libs are missing (most
likely the libopie2 packages).
