I have the same Problem !!!

I have the Latest Familiar Unstable I thought it Might be a problem with the latest PCMCIA

RUN
insmod af-packet.o

Then Run dhcp -d

If I run dhcpcd it returns to prompt quickly, and at
ends of syslog appears:
[2575] dhcpStart socket Address family not supported
by protocol

Yes, I had this problem in my ipaqs sometime ago, so I
reflash my h3870 to unstable15 image, and it seems to
be working fine, until I upgraded it. So my h5450 is
still waiting for upgrading (reflashing) when
available.
