madplay is pretty small (114K before compression AFAIK) and really should go
on the flash. Songs and the like should go on CF/uDrives/etc. Who compiled
madplay BTW? Did you use -Os with gcc ?
Plesae compiling packages should take a look at compiling software with -Os
if possible. -Os is like -O2 but with additional optimizations for space.
