Interesting. I've played a little with .WAV sounds on the iPAQ and
discovered that the 14Kb Utopia Maximize sample used in Windows can be
encoded to a 2Kb, 32Kbps MP3. The sound is noticably different but because
it's so short, it's fine for button clicks/swooshes or whatever.
It seems awfully overkill to spawn madplay to play a sample but if you have
lots of samples, it will save loads of space. :)
