Help!
:-)
Anyone got any clues why this program works fine (well - pretty fine, it's a
bit rough still) on my desktop running either Linux (Python 2.0) or Solaris
(Python 1.5.2) but dies on my iPAQ with the following trace:
--------------------
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/local/bin/dumpurl", line 6, in ?
f = urllib.urlopen(sys.argv[1])

AttributeError: 'None' object has no attribute 'read'
--------------------
(It's nice to use X cut'n'paste and scp to be able to pull that off the iPAQ)
I can only guess it's a module dependency problem - probably beyond my
skills.
Yes, I know the code isn't great and could do with some more error checking
- I'm still working on it...
Cheers
Richard
