protecting sector

Hi,

familiar install instructions say that if protecting the sector 0 does
not work (value 00000000 instead of 00010001) I should write a mail to
familiar@handhelds.org . Well, I did that. What now? Mannually
protecting (pflash 0 0xffff 1) several times did not work.
