no suspend here. clean reboot, freshly modprobed usbnet.

mine looks exactly the same (except for the ip and network addresses
of course).

i didn't use the script, but did all the steps by hand.
only thing i don't have is the cpu-scale module, so i didn't do
"echo 10 > /proc/scale".
i think i'm giving up for now.
since 0.5beta is imminent, i'll try again in a few days with a fresh
system.
