X after upgrade to 2.4.6

Hi all

I've got another newbie question concerning my upgrade to Kernel 2.4.6 : I can't start X, and have the following error msgs :

Fatal server error:
LinuxInit: Cannot open /dev/tty0 (No such file or directory)

Unable to open /dev/h3600_ts
xset: unable to open display ":0.0"
BaseDisplay::BaseDisplay: connection to X server failed.
xrdb: No such file or directory
xrdb: Can't open display ':0.0'
xrdb: No such file or directory
xrdb: Can't open display ':0.0'

The /dev/ files don't exist, that's why they can't be open ! should they be relpaced by other, or is there an X package to help this upgrade ?
