Kermit to iPAQ question

Kermit works great and has worked great. For some reason it has decided
not to work after I had done a restore to Win and then started a new
install of Familiar to a newer version.

With Kermit interaction with the boot loader 2.15.2 works fine. After
booting 2.4.7-rmk3-np1-devfs-hh2 and the login prompt is displayed, I
can no longer use Kermit. I am fairly certain Kermit is set correctly
because it works at the boot loader level. Hyperterm works just fine
when at the login prompt.

Any ideas?
