Sorry, I don't know about devfs peculiarities but I've got an ipkg of
minicom for you. I'll send it to you in a separate mail.

I haven't got a pcmcia modem working either (btw I don't know if anyone
has, although apparently there is no reason why they shouldn't). I'm
using the standard familiar 0.4 kernel, 2.4.3. My ttyS0 get's
initialized OK, I presume, but then there's no one speaking at the other
end. No respons to 'ATZ' or anything.

If you get this working I'd very much appreciate if you let me know.
