Cross compiling GTK

Hi all,

I've been struggling for a couple of days in trying to get Glib and Gtk cross-compiled to ARM.
Glib, after a lot of headaches is finally overcome.

But while reading the INSTALL from Gtk, I came across with some instructions, in which I do not want to believe...

It talks about having Pango, Atk libraries, TIFF, PNG, JPEG loading libraries...
Can anyone please tell me not to worry, that it is just a matter of configuring some evironment variables, and that I do not need to cross compile all these to get Gtk working...

I am using the arm-linux-toolchain, RH9.

thanks for any spiritual support, but I also accept some bad news... ;)

Günther.
