jed ipk

jed is an editor that clones emacs, brief, word perfect, whatever. It has
modes for python, C, tex, whatever, with syntax-highlighting! It depends
on slang1, libgpmg1, and libncurses5.

I've just finished building ipks for jed. They are
jed-common_0.99.9-14_all.ipk and jed_0.99.9-14_arm.ipk, and are available
here:

The combination of the two jed packages (both are necessary) and libgpmg1
use about 450KB on a JFFS2 partition, so it's not exactly lightweight.
However, much of that space is for the mode support -- do you really want
to edit lisp or postscript on your ipaq? Making a lightweight (or
lighterweight) version of these packages is left as an exercise for the
reader.
