1) I do not find it useful as a PIM at the moment. But then again, I tend
to reinstall things every couple of days while doing kernel work.
2) Suspend it when not in use. Resume/reboot it when in use. Charge at
least once a day.
3) Wait for 0.5.
4) Your ipaq probably has 32MB of DRAM, 16MB of flash. Up to 16MB of DRAM
will be used for filesystem storage (the rest automatically available to the
kernel and running programs). There's definitely enough room in flash to
enable you to use PPP over a modem and to mount /usr/local on a CF card.
5) I would definitely get an ethernet device such as a Socket Communications
CF ethernet.
