I actually *think* you do need the PCMCIA stuff for CF as well, but I'm not
positive, either. I was under the impression that, to the system, a CF looks
more or less the same as a PCMCIA card -- they're just different form
factors.

*Nod* I'm still hoping someone can tell me whether ext2, ext3, or reiserfs
would be a better file system to use on a flash card. ext2 seems like it
would actually be a bad bet because of the way it uses blocks. Alas, JFFS2
won't work, I'm told, because a CF appears like a disk, not like an MTD.

As for fdisk, I can't see why you would need it, unless you felt a strong
urge to partition your CF card :-)
