Hi there

Complete newbe to ipaq here but from my quick experimentation I can answer
some of the questions.

If you are using the CF expansion pack (the one where the CF just plugs into
the unit with out the pcmcia adapter) then you dont need to do anything (well
thats what I found) for pc-card expansion pack I would *guess* you will need
both sets of modules (someone please confirm/deny this)

I found that fdisk was not there... guess I didnt install the right ipkg. BUT
I didnt need to. you format the disk with mkfs -t ext2 /dev/hda1 (where
/dev/hda1 name given to the disk)

The "format" command is the mkfs (stands for make file system) so thats why
you probably cant find format.

See above... fdisk im not sure on, but I didnt need it.

If you are really new to linux then I suggest you take a quick look at the
linux newbie howtos (check www.linuxdoc.org for the complete list) and try to
get a grasp of the differences between dos/windows and linux.

Hope this helps
