Hi

I want to install Emacs on my iPAQ with Familiar.
I found a message from Gorges France in
http://www.handhelds.org/pipermail/linux/2000-July/000096.html saying :
emacs has been added to the skiffcluster. Source and binary can be found at
ftp://ftp.handhelds.org/pub/linux/arm/apps.

I wish I can find a kind person explaining me in details what I have to do
if I want it on my iPAQ.

I found some arm debian packages that I want use (get Emacspeak working with
Emacs) at
http://www2.cddc.vt.edu/linux/distributions/debian/dists/stable/main/binary-
arm/editors/
A description of the packages can be found at
http://www2.cddc.vt.edu/linux/distributions/debian/dists/stable/main/binary-
arm/Packages

What should I do to be able to use those pakage on Familiar. Should be I
think quite easy as Familiar is Debian like or did I say something stupid.

Thanks in advance.
