My concern was not in installing X. 16MB of rom is what is on the color
iPaq too. It's running applications. You barely have memory left on the
iPaq running X and basic programs on the 32MB ram color ipaq, I dont see
running much on the 16MB ram ipaq...

I am also newbie who just purchased a 3135 with the same amazon deal
(free CF, the whole kit and kaboodle for $150) and I intend on running
familiar 0.4 on it. The previous questions that were listed here about
the 3135 prompted some more for me:

        -For starters, can I *not* install familiar on an iPaq with a
USB cable?
        -If I use a CF card with the iPaq, could I also install and use
X?

        If my questions are a little too 'newbie'ish, then please just
respond with RTFM, and tell me where I can get the FM :)
