What to do with a H3135?

Hi,

Late yesterday my H3135 arrived, fresh from Amazon, where after
rebate it only cost me $149. (This includes a CF adaptor and an
extra 32MB CF card!) Haven't seen this deal mentioned on the list, so
I thought you'd like to know.

Now that I have it, I've got a couple of newbie questions.

I'm a little confused as to what and when I should try to bring up
Familiar on it. I've seen some discussion about limitations of the
.4 release. Should I wait for .5? Or should I work from the
unstable feed?

Also, the 3135 doesn't come with a serial cable. I saw a question
from an earlier poster asking for pinout information, but no
response. I'd be happy to sacrifice the included USB cable for the
connectors and build my own, if this is possible.

Finally, is the included 16MB enough for the standard distro? I'd
like to use the included CF adaptor for an ethernet (and eventually
802.11 card). I realize I won't be able to put a full suite of apps
on it, I'm mostly interested in getting a small Web browser going...

Any advice would be most welcome.

Thanks,

dean
