And how about ROM-upgrade? Have you tested it?

I am now planning to do following

     - Upgrade RAM to 64 MB
     - Upgrade ROM to 32 MB

You can run Java 2 SE on an ipaq with 16MB of Flash, 32MB of DRAM and a
network or disk card. No upgrades required. We've had 3 of Blackdown's
JVM's running simultaneously in this configuration with the JDK available
via NFS.

With 32MB of flash, you should be able to install the Blackdown JDK
locally.

I would recommend going with the 64MB DRAM upgrade if you have to make a
quick decision. We have not demonstrated a need for 128MB of DRAM, really.
