Memory upgrades from PCE2000?

Hi

I need to get Blackdown JDK installed to IPaq and therefore I will need to
upgrade the memory in the company known as PCE2000.
I read from 2 week old discussion that there were problems with Familiar
and 128 MB memory. Is there any solutions for the problem. (even in the
familiar cvs-code?)

And how about if I upgrade the memory to 64 MB instead of 128 MB. Will this
work?
(Or is it possible to upgrade memory to 128 MB and only use first 64 MB
with Linux?)
