FYI,
After transferring a new copy of the libssl ipkg via sz/minicom, and then
reinstalling it, ssh works, though only for version one. I could not
figure out how to generate a key for version two because the openssh that
is on the ipaq seems to not support the -t argument to ssh-keygen.
After completing the network setup I was able to finish setting up the
ipaq with few problems. One thing I noted, however, was that the "ipkg
update" put an invalid url in the /etc/ipkg.conf, meaning that until I
changed it no further remote ipkg operations could be performed.
