minicom is OK, but you have to get the transfer started very quickly to
avoid all the NAK's. In later versions of the bootldr, there is a parameter
you can adjust to give yourself more time to type in the filename.
What works for me is to start the transfer once, then when it prints the NAK
error messages I ctrl-c to stop xmodem on the host, then wait for a '.' from
the ipaq, type another ctrl-c to terminate xmodem on that end.
Then start over, but make use of the fact that minicom remembers the last
file transfered, so you don't have to retype the filename:
load xmodem <return> <ctrl-a> z <down-arrow> <down-arrow> <enter>
<enter> <enter>
will start the transfer quick enough that you won't get the NAK's.
