Thanks for the info. :-)

We're mainly a Java shop, and familiar seems to be a possible deployment
target for our application on the iPAQ.

I'll raise the Jornada as a possible platform, with your caveat about
"specially modified Jornada 720's", if they were willing to allocate
resources to providing familiar (or some other linux distro) on the device.
