I am having the same issue -- although I am using a 3670 and a 2.4.6 image that I built
from CVS label: K2_4_6-rmk1-np2-hh2. Below is the screen dump as it attempts to boot up:

root_filesystem_name=ramdisk
argc=00000002
args=noinitrd console=ttySA0 init=/linuxrc root=/dev/mtdblock3
setting boot parameters
get_param: could not find parameter system_rev
Setting up Linux parameters at address=C0000100
using_ramdisk=00000001
initrd_start=346C7466
dram_size=04000000
nr_pages=00004000
command line is: noinitrd console=ttySA0 init=/linuxrc root=/dev/mtdblock3
linuxEntryPoint=C0008000
Booting Linux image

.....This is where it hangs forever. Also, here is a dump of partition show:

boot> partition show
argv[1]=partition
npartitions=00000004

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Sean
