Um...hrm...I thought the Bootstrap image included pppd.
If not, however, you can grab ipkgs via FTP or the web to your desktop
machine, download ipkg packages to the iPAQ using minicom and ZModem (wish
the bootrom used ZModem, as well...XModem is painful and slow :-/), and then
install them using ipkg until you've got the system working minimally for
network again.
