Hi all
I'm still stick with problems about the Wireless PCMCIA cards and my ipaqs
(3850 and 3635).
Basically communication works fine with vwlan_cs and Orinoco card including
heavy traffic and multicast/broadcast. But I need to work with prism2x based
cards. I'v tried sevral cards with the three available drivers : orinoco_cs,
hostap_cs and prism2_cs. Prism2_cs generates some kernel panic. Orinoco_cs
and hostap_cs work apparently. However there are these timeout problems
(NETDEV WATCHDOG: wlan0: transmit timed out)that generate periodically a
card reset. Consequently it does not work with heavy traffic.
I've read somewhere that it could be related with the PCMCIA initialization.
Is PCMCIA embedded in the kernel or as a standalone module?
Where can I specify some option as PCIC_OPTS, CORE_OPTS ?
Are they some options that may positively influence the problem explained
above ?
Thanks.
