kernel 2.4.7 and cowards

Hello!

I just tried to compile my own kernel, using the current CVS and
h3600-familiar config as template and changing only minor things, none
had to do with jffs. I get this error with the task-bootstrap.jffs2:

JFFS2: Erase block at 0x00000000 is not formatted. It will be
erased
Cowardly refusing to erase blocks on filesystem with no valid JFFS2
nodes
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 1f:00

The old kernel 2.4.3-rmk2-np1 has no problems, so what is wrong? I can
send my .config if needed.
