Windowsn 98 can act as a ppp server or client, but the server code is
horribly broken and doesn't conform to its own documentation. To use it
from linux you will need a patched linux pppd that uses the MSCHAP
protocol, which is not the same as standard CHAP. Search for MSCHAP on
deja under comp.protocols.ppp.
