hi

I seem to be having the same problems as Leonard on the familiar mailing
list:

I am using 2.14.5 bootldr

I've hit reset and rebooted but go back into WinCE.

I've tried toggling the protect (pflash 0 0xffff 0/1)

boot>
boot> qflash 2
value = 00000000
boot> pflash 0 0xffff 1
  addr=00000000
  len=0000FFFF
  protect=00000001
Protecting sector 00000000
boot> qflash 2
value = 00000000
boot> pflash 0 0xffff 0
  addr=00000000
  len=0000FFFF
  protect=00000000
boot> pflash 0 0xffff 1
  addr=00000000
  len=0000FFFF
  protect=00000001
Protecting sector 00000000
boot> qflash 2
value = 00000000
boot>

I've tried X-modem'ing the bootloader across again after unprotecting with
pflash) but get an error:

boot> load bootldr
loading flash region bootldr
using xmodem
ready for xmodem download..
Download Successful
00018980 bytes loaded to C0000400
BSD sum value is: 00000000

programming flash...erasing ...
Erasing sector 00000000
  len=00018980
eraseSector error
  sectorAddress=00000000
  flashContents=FFFFFFFF
  status=00BA00BA
erase error!
boot>

does this mean it may be protected anyway?

pls help!

many thanks
