menu-tiny suggestion

I was running into a difficulty while rearranging my menu sections to make
sure that I could always get to any option while in landscape mode and was
having difficulty in removing sections. I was really getting frustrated
until I realized that I was using an editor (xjed) that makes backup
copies. In other words when I editted /usr/lib/menu/notepaq and saved it
with a new Section setting, xjed would make a copy of the old file as
/usr/lib/menu/notepaq~, update-menus would then see both copies and create
both entries in the menu. Once I understood this of course I started rming
the *~ files. I'm wondering though if the menu-tiny utilities should be
ignoring filenames that use standard backup formats, like <original name>~.
