Hi All,
I am currently at the point in the installation process where I
have the "boot>" prompt on the iPAQ in minicom on Linux, but am not
succeeding in downloading the file "bootldr-0000-2.14.8" with xmodem,
getting a long series of "Retry 0: NAK on sector" messages. I see in the
list archives that the cure for this is to increase the xmodem_initial_timeout
time, but I appear to be running a version of bootldr currently which
doesn't have that parameter. (Having just chosen to "run" rather than
"run from file" in the osloader-1.3.0 tool menu.)
Is that a correct guess? If so, how do I back out gracefully and restart
specifying "run from file" to start "bootldr-0000-2.14.8", which should?
(Assuming I copy it over to the iPAQ.)
Thanks in advance for any help...
Pete
