/linuxrc messes up the date/time

I had noticed that every time I reboot my date/time would get reset. So I
checked /linuxrc and noticed that it was setting the date based on
/etc/lastdate. Based on console messages and some other evidence it seemed
to me that the ipaq should be able to keep time without any problem through
sleep and reboot. I commented those lines out in /linuxrc and so far I
seem to be able to keep an accurate time and date. Let me state that my
testing is not exactly exhaustive though.
