Side Issue:

I am interested to know the performance of running the Swing under Familiar
+ blackdown JVM?
Is Swing part off blackdown JVM?

Subject: [iPAQ] desktop & java : switching btw and referencing

3 Problems......

(1) is there a command I can use at the command line to switch the desktop
currently on screen

(2) is there a way to specify which desktop my java program should use
     - either directly in the code
     - or at the command prompt when the progam is started can I specify
which desktop it should go to....

(3) I am using the blackdown JVM on familiar 0.4, with my GUI constructed in
Swing, BUT i cant get my java code to place my Swing.window of screen... I
can do it manually... but not form java.... does anybody know a work around
or a way of doing it from
linux......

Thanks

Gerard Briscoe
