I upgraded from familiar kernel 2.4.3 to kernel 2.4.4 --
after many trials and tribulations too numerous for this
message,
I finally have kernel 2.4.4 running --I installed the stock
familiar 0.4 and then unpacked 244.tgz to get all the
modules in there.
At this point it recognized my single card sleeve;
I then re-installed intimateboot since I was running
intimate on this ipaq originally.

Well, afte rinstalling intimateboot, I have lost all pcmcia
support --
I get a mystefying message about no CMI device --
and all pcmcia operations bomb saying "no slot!"--
note that all the pcmcia modules --sa1100_cs.so ds.so and
pcmcia_cs.so are loading without any errors or wanrings.
