On the gtk front:

No one is working on gtk 1.3 (or 2.0 beta) yet. I hope to start poking sometime
soon, but now promises. Feel free to build/package things.

We'll probably upgrade libgtk 1.2 to something more recent in the meanwhile;
Michael That has hacked several widgets to be a bit smaller, which is more
than enough incentive to rebuild.
