Gtk Version, Python version

Hello,

the current release of familiar has python version 2.0 and GTK 1.2
included.

At least for python the actual version 2.1 (or 2.1.1). Are there any
plans to include the a newer version of python in the next release?

For GTK i have some applications which use python 2.1 and GTK-1.3.5 on
a Debian Linux PC.

Does anyone how I can compile the current snapshot og GTK 1.3 for the
iPAQ? Is this the Frame-Buffer version or the Nano-X?
