I did the following steps:
ipkg upgrade rxvt-aa
ipkg install familiar-postinst
/root/postinst
mv /usr/local/lib/X11/fonts/ttf/* /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/ttf/
I also added the following line near the top of /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/XftConfig:
match any family == "mono" edit family += "Andale Mono";
With that, my iPAQ has never looked better! (Without the edit to
XftConfig, there's about a full character's width of dead space
between each character).
With a font of "mono-5:minspace=true" I can even get a 77x25 character
terminal that is actually mostly readable, (that's in spite of the
wasted space of the standard-size ion titlebar). Now, all I need to do
is squeeze in 3 more columns! :)
