Add the following lines to /etc/modules.conf:
alias net-pf-4 off
alias net-pf-5 off
I've had this same problem with various flavors of Linux since
IPX was added to the kernel. It's not a big deal; the kernel is
just looking for Net Protocol Family 4 and 5 and can't find the
drivers.
