wireless ip

OK, I got the wget working (the file was supposed to be called wgetrc not
wget (doh!)

Now i have a problem with wireless networking. I have it set up and ifconfig
shows eth0 up and running. I can use ssh to access ssh servers on my local
network and that all works fine. However I don't seem to be able to reach
outside the university campus. ping www.yahoo.com finds the correct ip
address but then gets no responce?

Any ideas?
