Next version of xstroke will allow strokes for mode switching, (for
thems that prefer that sort of thing).
Hoping to get this in place before Familiar v0.5 sneaks out...
I would be interested to know how you think the recognition itself
compares between the two programs, (as opposed to the currently
implemented alphabet).
