Screen layout

Can anyone tell me how to rotate my screen so it displays 320x240 instead of the default 240x320?

I saw a mention of this on the oreilly article and in a few of the screen shots but cant figure it out. The oreilly article said to instal a program called xinerama, but I cant find that program.
