Intimate does this to and I just wonder WHY???
BTW: JFFS2 does gzip compression in the file system, this should make
     gzexe unneded on the base iPaq.
btw2: it does not even help for files in ramfs, the files are extracted
      (into /tmp, also in ramfs) and so need twice the space

Familiar is missing one helper program needed by gzexe, it's called
something like maketemp or tempfile. But you should have the docs for
gzexe ...
