One more question: Is it alright to disconnect the serial cable
before pushing the reset button on the bottom of the iPaq? Or, will
this cause something bad to happen?

I just noticed that the Windows Port Settings has the baud rate set to
57600 for the port I'm using (as opposed to 115200). I don't know if
this has anything to do with the problems I'm encountering, but I
would like to change it before continuing. Of course, only if it is
safe to disconnect the serial cable before hitting reset.

Thanks again,
Travis
