Ellen,
I have familiar 0.4 and Orinoco silver with RG 1000 and it's working just
fine.
I had to edit the following files:
network.opts (to configure my ip-address, gateway, dns server settings +
disable pump and dhcp)
config.opts (to uncomment module wvlan_cs and add some options
port_type,
channel, network name)
wireless.opts (to remove "SECTION TO REMOVE" and change the first 3 hex no
of the mac address, change ESSID change mode to Managed and add the enc.
key)
As I can remeber you are using 192.168.1.x addresses and you have tried to
ping internet address - do you have some sort of NAT (address translation)
in place and/or is your routing in place to?
good luck
Elvir
