Happy day for you. ipkg already works beautifully for this
purpose. All of the Familiar v0.4 images were created using
ipkg. Simply point IPKG_ROOT to something other than '/', do "ipkg
update", then "ipkg install" to your heart's content.

That could also work already... if only we had some documentation
