Hi
Thanks for your reply
However what I got by typing "mount /dev/hda1 /mnt/hda" is
"mount /dev/hda1: unknown device"
As previously stated, the console prints the following when I plugged my CF
memory card (Sandisk 32MB) into the CF sleeve:
bitsy_pcmcia_configure_socket: socket=3D0 vcc=3D50 vpp=3D50 reset=3D0
bitsy_pcmcia_configure_socket: socket=3D0 vcc=3D50 vpp=3D50 reset=3D1
bitsy_pcmcia_configure_socket: socket=3D0 vcc=3D50 vpp=3D50 reset=3D0
cardmgr[59]: initializing socket 0
cardmgr[59]: socket 0: ATA/IDE Fixed Disk
cardmgr[59]: executing: 'modprobe ide-cs'
Uniform Multi-Platform E-IDE driver Revision: 6.31
ide: Assuming 50MHz system bus speed for PIO modes; override with =
idebus=3Dxx
cardmgr[59]: get dev info on socket 0 failed: Resource temporarily
unavailable
I have also tried a CF card of another brand and got the same result.
However I am sure my CF memory card works under WinCE.
Could you quote me the message you saw when you plugged into the card?
Thanks a lot for your help.
Regards
Lawrence
