Greetings all...

I'm new to Linux on the iPaq, and am trying to obtain/compile more detailed
information about creating a custom Familiar 0.4 jffs image using
mkfs.jffs2.

Specifically:

- When I untar/gz task-familiar-complete.tar.gz (which I got from the 0.4
install/H3600 directory on ftp.handhelds.org) I see what looks like a
filesystem in a task-familiar-complete directory. Are the contents of this
file what I should be using to create the jffs image (If so, I suspect that
jffs images can be created from a variety of sources... I'd just like to
know whether something that looks like the filesystem is going to look like
on the iPaq should be used as a starting point for the image)
- The documentation for mkfs.jffs2 talks about making an image with the
following command:

mkfs.jffs2 -r root -o root.jffs2 -e erasesize -p

Based on the previous point, would "root" be the task-familiar-complete
directory? i.e.

mkfs.jffs2 -r ./task-familiar-complete ...

Thanks in advance for any help/information...

Cheers...
