Hi, without looking it up i'm not sure what the to the letter stated
purpose of familiar-dev is but i've noticed posts tend to get ignored
unless they have to do with the immediate or forthcoming releases.

I think right now the main root of the issue are bugs that get it into a
state where it won't boot up without intervention at the boot loader (via
serial). I've seen this problem in .82 also, though it seems worse in .83.

Neway for this to have gone unaddressed this long perhaps the current
developers don't test or use this model much. I don't have much true low
level embeded experience but i'm going to see if I can do anything to fix
the issue.

I noticed a lot of other bugs in general on h5555 I'd like to fix also,
cause I do actually want it to be very usable and stable. I think when .83
is released I'll base numerous fixes and improvements for this model off
that current stable base.

Anyway why don't we move this discussion to the h5400-port list thanks.
