I must say that I have never seen such behavior since I started maintaing, but
obviuosly I will look into code for that.
Maybe the problem I'm referring shows when installing from a file ( e.g. ipkg
install ./mypackage.ipk ).
Probably the "ipkg install bar" may work when we are using the Packages file.
I will investigate and let you know soon.
